The CIEH Foundation Certificate in Food Hygiene is a first level course incorporating basic food hygiene knowledge for all food handlers. The programme coves a defined syllabus. Candidates are assessed by means of an examination consisting of 30 multi-choice questions and they have to achieve a mark of 66% in order to gain a pass result.
